Hola Britania, I hope you haven't completely abandoned your Spanish. I have very much enjoyed following your exploits and viewing your pics. I just figured out how to leave a comment. Until you next post, Senor Manning
You must try the rice balls while you're in Italy. They're Sicillian - arborio rice shaped in balls with prosciutto, cheese and peas coated in bread crumbs and deep fried. I had them while I was in Gaeta, near Rome. Delicious!! I too have been enjoying your time there and it's brought back some fond memories. I visited Venice and got to see the Pope say Mass in Rome. Take advantage of your time there. Try to visit the surrounding countries and you absolutely must fly to Paris before you come home!
I'm studying abroad with the University of Michigan in Florence, Italy for two semesters. We will be living in a Italian Villa in a city outside of Firenze called Sesto Fiorentino. First semester's classes include Experincing the City [Florence], The Catholic Reformation, Italian I, and European Socities. Fall semester starts September 3 and Spring semester ends April 23...but I won't be back until May 7th.
